CONGRATULATIONS
AMY AND JACE!!
NEW CD!! (with a High in Trial & a 3rd Place)
And
your Great Showing at the Nationals!!

High In Trial!!!

I asked Amy, Jace's
owner, to write something for Jace's page, and these are her words....
Our path to bringing Jace home was an
interesting one. About 7 years
earlier, I was still enjoying the life of my first GSD when I heard
of a wonderful young male named Ace. It was fate and good fortune
that when my husband and I decided it was time to get a puppy after
losing our first dog, that the very same Ace had sired a litter with
a beautiful bitch (Ilka) imported from Germany. Amazingly, there was
one female pup that was not yet claimed. On September 11, 2002, the
first anniversary of the greatest tragedy our nation has ever known,
the joy and happiness of sharing life with Jace Cobaka von
Lindesfarne began!
Jace is a dog that I would characterize as loving life! Each morning
she awakes and seems to say, "thank-you for another day!!!".
I have chosen to train her in AKC obedience primarily because this is
where my experience lies. I anticipate that she will show for her
Companion Dog title in the summer or fall of 2005. I have very high
hopes that she is going to make me proud in the ring as she is
absolutely full of drive and truly enjoys working.
In addition to being a joy to train, Jace is a wonderful pet and is
extraordinarily loving. She is happiest when chasing after one of
her balls in the yard, or sleeping in our bed, or training with Ace
and Jax. She has a wonderfully solid temperament and is not afraid
of anything.
